EAMONN GEARON - Director / Writer/ Producer

Eamonn Gearon is a writer, photographer and filmmaker who has spent most of the past decade in various parts of North Africa. When not exploring the Sahara, he was teaching writing at the American University, Cairo, as well as writing for and editing various publications.

He is currently writing a book about the oasis and people of Siwa, Egypt, where he lived for a year and a half, and planning a series of documentaries about continuing, although largely ignored or forgotten conflicts, and life during wartime, both for civilian populations and combatants.

Eamonn’s growing reputation as an authority on the politics and history of both North and sub-Saharan Africa has most recently been put to use when he was commissioned to make a major contribution to the writing of a major, three-volume encyclopaedia of African history.

NOEL DONNELLON - Cinematographer / Producer

Noel Donnellon has 15 years experience as a Cinematographer working on all formats, Film & Video.

Recent Cinematography credits include the 2007 OSCAR® Nominated Documentary Feature "Deliver Us From Evil".

He has worked on numerous documentaries, commercials, music promos, idents and dramas for, among others, BBC Worldwide, BBC America, RTE, UK Horizons, SONY Jazz, EMI Records, Island Records, Virgin Records, BMG & ZTT. He has filmed in the USA, Ireland, Britain, Africa & Europe.

Noel is also a Producer at VooDooDog® in London, who 's work includes the EMMY® Nominated Title sequence for the HBO/BBC Films, Golden Globe® wining picture "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers".

Previously a Video Supervisor / Operator, he was Head of Department for STEVEN SPIELBERG ( "Saving Private Ryan") and worked with MEL GIBSON( "Braveheart"), NEIL JORDAN ( "The Butcher Boy", "Michael Collins") and JIM SHERIDAN ("The Boxer", "In the Name of The Father") He has also worked on over 200 commercial spots in Europe and the USA.

He is a founding member of the Irish Film and Television Academy

LAURA CLAUSON - Executive Producer

Laura Clauson initially became involved in Rwandan affairs while interviewing refugees for Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance (AMERA), a legal aid clinic in Cairo, Egypt. Laura became the executive producer of A Mother's Love with the wish that the story of Ros Carr's efforts to bring hope to Rwanda would inspire others to do likewise.

Laura currently lives in Rwanda and is the Director of Field Operations for Comprehensive Community Health Initiatives & Programs (CCHIPS), a program of Wyman Worldwide Health Partners (www.wwhps.org) which is fiscally sponsored by the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. CCHIPS is bringing improved health care to rural Rwanda through a three pronged approach – Infrastructure and equipment upgrades; Training and capacity building; Community participation.

SEAN CLAUSON - Editor / Sound Engineer

Sean Clauson is a New York based freelancer. He has most recently Sound Mixed on numerous projects including the US documentaries "Alex Grey" , "Obscenery" and "POTS" and the Independent Feature Films "No Room for Groceries" and "Famed".

He has a BFA in Film & Television Production from NYU where he also trained as an Editor in AVID Editing Systems and Final Cut Pro4.

In addition Sean produced the HD feature "Madness & Genius" , which made its world premiere at the 2003 Toronto Film Festival, and won the Sloan Award at the Hampton's International Film Festival.
He was also the Line Producer on the HD Feature "Leadcatcher".
